Specialized Integration & Implementation Centers

Software Associates has specialized centers of integration and implementation, with experience in the platforms, methodologies and associates procedures that allows us to be operative from the first day reducing the costs of on-site implementation. We can resume the general principles of operations:

  • These development teams are independent and self-sufficient, so they haven’t on the daily leadership of any member of our customers, being able to coordinate itself from the first day with the functional people in charge of the new applications who are in charge of the services of Assessment, Analysis & Design in the surroundings of our customers.
  • The activities of the integrated team of Specialized Centers of development include all the value chain activities or implementation and integrations, using for it the required corporative methodology in each one of the carried out projects.
  • Although in each one of the specialized centers of development different projects and customer are managed, each one of the projects has a defined and specified project plan and associated services levels.
  • Each software component or product resulting from the development is under warranty until the inauguration of the same by the team of maintenance of the platform.

The services supported by these specialized centers of development usually, extend during the Implementation and Start-up phases of each project, although finalized the Start-up phase Software Associates would be made position of the tasks of evolutionary and corrective maintenance of the system and the execution of new projects on the selected platform.

Software Associates have a specific methodology for the management of projects in the scope of these SW Factories:

  • Transition Phase. When the customer begin an approach according to a scheme of SW factory, during this phase we define and design the Director Plan for the customer, establishing the strategic alignment of the Objectives of the Near Shore Services. This Director Plan must set the standards and establish the priorities in the Evolution and Improvement of Customer, allowing the integration of processes, technology and people.
    • This phase has the objective of knowledge transference to the equipment and the definition and configuration of the service. This phase begins with the development of the first project, facilitating the conclusion of the definition and configuration of the service (organization, procedures, SLA’s and Reporting Model)
    • Additionally, during this phase the service of support also begins, supporting if is applicable, the correction maintenance services.
  • Consolidation Phase. It has like objective the conclusion of the development of the first project assigned to the service, and the adjustment in case of being necessary of the parameters and established indicators of management and S.L.A’s
    • During this phase a projects begins in parallel development of several projects, a project by each of the teams that make up the service.
  • Execute Phase. Phase in which the service is totally established and in which according to the projects and priorities defined in the Director Plan, the normal operation of the services begins.

There are several general principles to define and manage the Services Level Agreement:

  • Each assigned project to one of the Specialized Development Centers will have a agreement S.L.A, that assures to each one our customers the fulfillment terms and standards quality.
  • Whenever one of the Specialized Development Centers receives a project, during the stage of Consultancy and Planning the concrete S.L.A for the development of that project settles down, according to a Plan of Quality.
  • The S.L.A will be a measurable and defined commitment between Software Associates and each one of our customers for the optimal attainment of the objectives established in each project.
  • On the base of our experience the basic elements that will govern the S.L.A will be: Fulfillment of last Term and Incidences the period of Guarantee
  • During the transition stage of the service the parameters and values of the S.L.A.s will take shape, and they will adjust in the planning of each project, adjusting of specific way to each project
